RAM Mounts GDS Modular 10–30 V Hardwire Charger with USB-A Port & USB-A to DC Cable (RAM-GDS-CHARGE-M55-V7B1U) is a hardwired power supply for RAM docks in vehicles, designed for a 10–30 V DC input – i.e. 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems. The set combines the GDS modular charger with a female USB Type-A socket (RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7B1U) and a genuine GDS USB-A to DC cable (RAM-GDS-CAB-USBA-DC-1U). RAM names it as the accompanying power supply for its powered Form-Fit docks for the Honeywell CT40, CT45 & CT47 and the Honeywell ScanPal EDA10A, which take power through a DC input; RAM handheld docks with a USB Type-A power plug connect straight to the USB-A socket. Thanks to the quick-disconnect power connector, the charger can later be swapped or upgraded without rewiring the vehicle.
