Zebra ET40 Tablet Terminal (ET40AA-001C2B0-A6)

The Zebra ET40 (Wi-Fi) and ET45 (5G) are Zebra's best-selling enterprise tablets: the thin, light design of a consumer tablet combined with an integrated barcode imager, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, IP65 sealing and a user-replaceable battery – right-priced tablets for retail, hospitality, delivery and field teams. This version, ET40AA-001C2B0-A6, is the 8" Wi-Fi-only ET40 model. Configuration: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB Flash, the integrated SE4100 1D/2D imager.

Key Features

• Consumer look, enterprise build – a thin (11.4 mm), light tablet that workers already know how to use, with the durability and lifecycle that consumer tablets lack.
• Bright display – 500 nits with Corning Gorilla Glass: 8" WXGA 1280 × 800 or 10.1" WUXGA 1920 × 1200.
• Integrated SE4100 1D/2D imager – split-second capture of barcodes on labels and screens, so no separate scanner is needed.
• Fast and future-proof – Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6375 octa-core processor, up to 8 GB RAM / 128 GB Flash, upgradeable to Android 14.
• Fast wireless – Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC with Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap support.
• Wi-Fi-only ET40 – the cost-effective choice for stores, hotels, warehouses and sites with Wi-Fi coverage; choose the ET45 for 5G.
• Rugged where it counts – IP65 sealing, 1.2 m drops to concrete (1.55 m with rugged boot) and a −20 °C to 50 °C operating range.
• Full-shift battery – user-replaceable Li-ion battery (6100 mAh 8" / 7600 mAh 10"); an optional hot-swappable PowerPack in the expansion back enables continuous operation.
• Video calls and PTT – 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, stereo speakers and two microphones; Workcloud PTT Express over Wi-Fi right out of the box.
• Zebra Mobility DNA – free Professional tools (StageNow, DataWedge, Enterprise Home Screen, Device Diagnostics); optional Mobility DNA Enterprise licence for Workstation Connect, multi-barcode capture and more.
• Complete accessory family – charging cradles, 4-slot ShareCradles, expansion backs with hand strap, Workstation Connect cradle, VESA mounts and vehicle cradles.

Ideal Applications

• Retail: assisted selling, price and stock checks, line busting and mobile POS
• Hospitality: guest check-in, restaurant ordering and staff communication
• Transport and logistics: routing and dispatch, proof of delivery and invoicing
• Field service: work orders, photo documentation and video calls
• Desk and counter use as a full workstation with Workstation Connect
