The TSC MB241 series is a compact 4-inch industrial label printer built for continuous production printing — the class of machine you put on a line, in a despatch area or a production cell where a desktop printer would wear out. It prints at 203 dpi using thermal transfer, so labels last.
MB241 and MB241T
Both models share the same core: 4-inch print width, 203 dpi, thermal transfer, and Ethernet, USB and RS232 as standard — no extra module needed to put the printer on the network. The two models differ in configuration; the exact specification for each is listed on its product page.
Why an industrial printer rather than a desktop

Serviceability — printheads and platen rollers are wear parts designed to be replaced, so the printer stays in service for years
If you print a few dozen labels a day at a packing bench, a desktop printer is the more sensible purchase. The MB241 earns its place when printing is continuous.
RFID upgrade option
The MB241 series can be upgraded with a UHF RFID module, available as an upgrade kit in cutter and tear-off versions. That matters if RFID is on your roadmap but not in this year's budget — you can buy the printer now and add RFID encoding later rather than replacing the machine.
Thermal transfer means choosing a ribbon
Match the ribbon to the label material, not to the printer. Paper labels take wax, coated paper takes wax-resin, and synthetic labels need resin — wax will not bond to a synthetic label and wipes off with a thumb.
