Datalogic Magellan 3510HSi Counter Scanner (M3513-010210)

The Datalogic Magellan 3510HSi is a horizontal in-counter barcode scanner that brings high-performance digital imaging to the checkout. It is installed flush with the counter, and its 1 MP imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes from paper labels and phone screens with a large field of view, supporting both fast sweep and presentation scanning. A new electronics platform lets it run from a single 5 V USB connection, and because it uses the same cables, mounts and exterior plastics as the Magellan 3550HSi, it is easy to fit into existing checkouts. It comes with a 3-year Datalogic warranty. This version, M3513-010210, has the scratch-resistant tin oxide glass platter and comes with the Standard Counter Mount – the interface cable and power supply are ordered separately.

• Choice of platter – sapphire glass is the most scratch-resistant choice for busy lanes, tin oxide glass is the more economical scratch-resistant option, and the version without a platter lets you reuse the top of an existing scanner.
• Customer Service Scanner ready – a powered USB auxiliary port for the optional Magellan Customer Service Scanner (CSS), so shoppers can scan phone screens, coupons and loyalty cards while the cashier keeps scanning items (the AUX port needs a power supply or 12 V host power; it is not enabled on a 5 V USB Type A host port).
• Loss prevention – compatible with Checkpoint Systems and Tyco Sensormatic EAS systems.
• Comfortable and reliable – subtle, adaptive illumination is easy on the eyes and solid-state electronics work silently; image capture (BMP, JPEG), micro SD card slot, diagnostics reporting and remote management via OPOS, JavaPOS, Toshiba Remote Management (IBM Systems Director) and Wavelink Avalanche; IP52 sealing and a 3-year Datalogic factory warranty.

Not sure which version you need? All Magellan 3510HSi versions contain the same in-counter imager. First choose the platter: sapphire glass (M3511-…) is the most scratch-resistant choice for busy lanes, tin oxide glass (M3513-…) is the more economical option, and M3510-010200 comes without a platter so you can reuse your existing one. Then choose the kit: with the Standard Counter Mount, with a USB cable for a standard PC or POS USB port, or with the OEM (IBM) USB cable for IBM/Toshiba POS terminals.
